Maceió, August 16, 2019 - Measures taken by Braskem in the district of Pinheiro and region are in the news again in Alagoas. This Friday, 16, Elaine Santana, responsible for actions to support the community, gave interview to Ponta Verde TV (SBT affiliated).

Elaine reviewed the situation of the actions proposed in the Technical Cooperation Agreement signed with public authorities, mentioning the measures already concluded and those in progress in the region.

The agreement actions already concluded include: inspection of the main network of the rainwater drainage system in Pinheiro; donation and installation of equipment by the Monitoring Center of the Civil Defense of Maceió; installation of a meteorological station and of a ground movements monitoring system with high-precision GPS; building inspection in schools and housing complexes located in critical areas.

The next step is the conclusion of the paving services in avenues damaged by cracks and the substitution of points in the drainage system. Despite the difficulties because of the rains, an area with more than 20 thousand square meters is being recovered. In some sections, like Rua Luiz Rizzo, the old pavement was replaced by an asphalt layer.
