Maceió, July 4, 2019 - In accordance with the transparency in its actions, Braskem gave an interview on Thursday (4) to the program Interesse Público, of the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office (MPF), broadcast by TV Justiça. At the occasion, Ana Carolina Cerqueyra, Vinyl Officer at Braskem, talked about the position and actions that the petrochemical company has been performing to identify the causes of the problems impacting the districts of Pinheiro, Mutange and Bebedouro, in Maceió.

The Vinyl Officer highlighted to the journalist Wendel Palhares the importance of concluding the sonar studies in the rock salt extraction wells, which are crucial to the understanding of the event and to propose definitive solutions to ensure the safety of the residents of the region.
