At this year's Interpack, we want to share our sustainability journey, showcase our achievements, and demonstrate our commitment towards a more sustainable future - one that starts today.

Interpack is the world's largest trade fair for the packaging sector and related process industries. At Braskem, we believe the future of both plastic & packaging relies on the development of low carbon, circular solutions. Building up to Interpack, we will have a series of publications to highlight how our products are delivering on carbon neutrality and circularity, which we hope will kickstart dynamic exchanges with relevant stakeholders at the fair.

Braskem has the aim of transforming the petrochemical industry. Our objective is to improve people's lives by creating sustainable solutions through chemical and plastic products. We have a passion for transforming - we always think ahead. Throughout the last 20 years, Braskem launched a series of products and helped converters and brand-owners to rethink sustainability in packaging. Braskem's I'm green^TM, our premium biobased plastic solution awarded on multiple occasions for its contribution to innovation & sustainability, will be expanding production to a million tons in 2030. More recently, we launched a portfolio for chemically and mechanically recycled resins, Wenew, as part of our challenge to ourselves to rethink circularity in the plastic chain. By 2025, Braskem is committed to expand the Wenew portfolio to include 300 tons of products and by 2030, we will expand Wenew to a million tons.

At Interpack 2023, we will highlight practical solutions that are already on the market, delivering contributions to a more sustainable future today. Interpack takes place Düsseldorf, between May 4th and 10th. We are looking forward to meeting you at our booth, at Hall 9, stand 32.
