Braskem Named a Pittsburgh Business Times' Innovation Award Winner
Braskem recognized for innovation in the 2017 inaugural edition of the awards program.
Pittsburgh, Pa. (December 5, 2017) - Braskem (BM&FBOVESPA: BRKM3, BRKM5 and BRKM6; NYSE: BAK; LATIBEX: XBRK), the largest thermoplastics resins producer in the Americas, announces it is a recipient of the inaugural edition of the Pittsburgh Business Times' Innovation Award . The award recognizes companies in Western Pennsylvania that have made extraordinary advances in their respective fields, challenging conventional thinking. These companies either created something new or developed disruptive approaches to challenge traditional solutions. Winners will be recognized on December 7th at an awards ceremony in Pittsburgh. Braskem is being recognized for its innovative new impact copolymer DP202A.
