AFRICA ZERO CREATES “REVERSE AD” FOR BRASKEM

Campaign promotes Water Day awareness

Due to the Water Day, celebrated on Sunday, March22, Braskem, the largest petrochemical company in the Americas and the world leader in biopolymers, is launching an advertising campaign that reinforces pillars such as innovation and sustainability, present in the Company’s DNA.

Signed by Africa Zero, one of the pieces brings an “upside down” layout with the following title: “The reuse of water in the production process helps reverse this situation,” promoting awareness on the water crisis facing the country.

The initiative also highlights the process of water reuse already used by Braskem and represented in figures: in 2014 alone, water reuse accounted for 28% of the Company’s total consumption.

The ad can be seen in major magazines in Brazil such as Veja, Época, IstoÉ, and Carta Capital. At the same time, sequential ads will be displayed in the newspapers Folha de S. Paulo, O Estado de S. Paulo, and Valor.
