Maceió, August 15, 2019 - Braskem remains committed to the search of solutions to bring safety to the residents of the districts of Pinheiro, Bebedouro and Mutange. With this view, the company reaffirms the importance of identifying the causes of the events in each one of these districts, and for this reason goes on performing the required technical and scientific studies, which shall be concluded by December.

Continuing the works to support the community, Braskem keeps the activities for installation of a safety infrastructure and the mitigation works that comprise the set of actions agreed upon with the Civil Defense, Crea-AL and the Federal and State Public Prosecutor's Offices. 

The court order to unblock the amount of R$ 3.7 billion since the company presents an insurance guarantee of the same amount aims to ensure the fulfilment of eventual future obligations by Braskem.
