Quality Assurance
The quality control analysis laboratory of the Basic Petrochemical Unit (Unib-RS) of Braskem received at the end of March the certificate of recognition from ISO 17025, a technical standard that guarantees the reliability of all technical and unit management processes. With a team made up of 38 people, the laboratory is responsible for about 18 thousand tests-month that analyze the quality of naphtha and its final product (ethene, propene, solvents, etc), as well as ecoefficiency indices. In Brazil, it is one of the few industrial laboratories that have this certificate.
