On March 20, Braskem won the Top 5 in Best Investor Relations Site in Latin America award, at the 11th edition of IR Global Rankings, when it was ranked among the 5 best IR web sites in Latin America. The award is coordinated by MZ Consult, leader in investor relations and financial communication consulting, with the support of several entities like The Bank of New York Mellon, KPMG Auditores Independentes, Arnold & Porter, Bloomberg, NYSE Euronext and Corporate Asia Network.

This was the second time Braskem won the IR Global Rankings award in this category. The IR web site was considered the third in Latin America and second among industrial companies in the whole world.
 
"This award recognizes our efforts to maintain transparent, equal and fast communication with our analysts and investors," says Luciana Ferreira, director of Investor Relations at Braskem.

Besides the IR web site category, there are others, like: Online Annual Report, Financial Disclosure, Corporate Governance and Best IR Program Award by vote. This year, nearly 160 companies participated from around the world.
