Green plastic gives Braskem an International Innovation Award

Braskem was the big winner of the Bioplastics Awards 2007, in the Best Innovation in Bioplastics category, for its commitment with sustainable development and technological innovation, when launching the first certified green polyethylene with 100% renewable raw material in the world. The choice was promoted by European Plastic News, one of the reputable international specialized publications of the sector. In this category, Braskem competed with other three international companies, among which Dow Chemical.
