The Braskem Board regretfully communicates the passing away of Janus Lucas Leite Silva and José Carlos Pierucetti, Braskem employees, and Paulo César Pavi, an Ipiranga Química employee, passengers aboard TAM flight JJ 3054, from Porto Alegre, and that fell Tuesday evening in São Paulo. Since confirmation of the news, Braskem has been rendering support to the victims´ families, manifesting its solidarity and trying to mitigate the pain for their loss of loved ones.

Janus Lucas Leite Silva, single, was a member of the Supplies team based in Camaçari. José Carlos Pierucetti, father of one daughter, was responsible for market development at the Vinyl Unit based in São Paulo. Paulo César Pavi, married and father of two daughters, was manager of the Ipiranga Química Polymers Unit, based in São Paulo.

Braskem expresses its solidarity and sadness to the families of Janus, José Carlos and Paulo César, for the loss of these men who with skill, dedication and friendship gave such inestimable contributions to the development of Braskem and Ipiranga Química.
