Copesul, Ipiranga Química and Petroquímica announce new corporate leadership
New director superintendents and members of the Board of Directors are defined
After finalizing the agreement for one of the largest business operations ever carried out in Brazil, where Petrobras, Ultra Group and Braskem acquired the Ipiranga Group’s businesses, the composition of the new Boards of Directors and Executive Boards at Copesul, Ipiranga Química and PetroQuímca was announced on 4/25 in Rio Grande do Sul.
The Copesul Board of Directors, whose composition was expanded from seven to nine members, elected José Carlos Grubisich as its new president and José Lima de Andrade Neto as vice-president. Alfredo Lisboa Ribeiro Tellechea was nominated the institution’s director superintendent to replace Luiz Fernando Cirne Lima. Michael Machado, until then Braskem’s director for Structured Operations, is the new financial and investor relations director.
At Ipiranga Petroquímica, Roberto Lopes Pontes Simões was chosen Chairman of the Board of Directors and Maurício Roberto Carvalho Ferro was nominated vice-president. Ipiranga Petroquímica’s new director superintendent is Roberto Bischoff. He had been working as Braskem’s director for Development of International Projects. Jayme Fonseca, who was Braskem’s Controllership director, was nominated financial and investor relations director.
At Ipiranga Química, the Board of Directors elected Luiz de Mendonça as its new Chairman and José Lima de Andrade Neto as vice-president. Fernando Rafael Abrantes was confirmed as director superintendent at Ipiranga Química, a function he has held since 1996.
