The event was staged at the Bali Hai, at Atlântida, the busiest beach in the state along the northern coast.
The party mixed the Gaucho and Bahian cultures. When the guests arrived, they were received by two Bahian women for the "shaking", a prayer made with a shower of popcorn and rue branches to eliminate bad fluids and evil eye. Lunch was prepared by Dadá, the symbol of Bahian cuisine. The stage was shared by traditional band, Os Fagundes, and the pagode band, Ki Zoeira.
The event was hosted by Braskem president, José Carlos Grubisich. The guests included Shuen Ming Ling, president of the Board at Petropar, Jorge Vargas Cardoso, director superintendent of Pólo Films and president of Sinplast, politicians such as federal representative, Manuela D´Ávila, state secretary for Infrastructure, Daniel Andrade, Porto Alegre secretary of Tourism, Ângela Baldino, state representatives Alberto Oliveira and Kalil Sehebe, as well the president of Fiergs, Paulo Tigre, among others.
Braskem was very present at the Gaucho summer this year. The Bali Hai is one of the most sought after spaces by sponsors who want to get closer to their public and customers. Those who stopped by found a well-decorated site with a large exhibit of the brand in beach chairs, parasols, menus, dish mats and many other objects.
Art with Plastic was at the site on the beach all season and served a total of 1.2 thousand children. And the company took advantage of this space in an intense manner promoting dinners every Saturday for third generation clients and their own clients: Grendene, Termolar, Vipal, Pólo Filmes, Fontana and Fitesa. These events mobilized more than 500 people altogether.
According to Grubisich, the objective of this initiative of being at the beach was to bring Braskem closer to the Gaucho community. "We have been here for more than 20 years. About R$ 4 billion of the company´s annual earnings result from operations in the state. That´s why it is important to show that Braskem is important for RS and vice-versa," he said.
