Hydrocarbon resin (Unilene®)

Unilene® is an aromatic C9 hydrocarbon resin with excellent performance and compatibility with various polymers and elastomers. It has hydrophobic characteristics and is supplied in light-yellow pellets, being used in the formulation of paints, adhesives, and tires.

Polyethylene wax I'm green™ bio-based

The GWax I'm green™ bio-based line consists of polyethylene waxes from renewable sources, produced from ethanol derived from sugarcane. With a negative carbon footprint, it is a sustainable, renewable solution that complements the Specialty Chemicals portfolio for various markets.

It is compatible with several polymers and additives, providing lubrication properties and improved flow in formulations for applications such as masterbatches, hot-melt adhesives, coatings, among others.

Isoprene

Isoprene, obtained from the C5 stream, is a high-purity hydrocarbon essential for the production of specialty rubbers for medical applications, such as surgical gloves. It is also used in the fabrication of rubber compounds that are widely used in the formulation of high-performance adhesives and flexible composites, contributing to thermal resistance, adhesion, and durability across various industrial sectors.

Dicyclopentadiene (DCPD)

Dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) is used as a raw material for the production of various resins, such as polyester and hydrocarbon resins. Polymers containing DCPD in their structure offer an excellent combination of rigidity and resilience, a wide application temperature range, high-quality surface finish, and excellent properties.

Piperylene

Piperylene, produced from the C5 stream, is a strategic raw material in the synthesis of hydrocarbon resins widely used in the adhesives, paints, plastics, and rubber markets. Its structure ensures excellent compatibility with different polymer systems, contributing to performance, stability, and versatility in formulations.

Nonene

Nonene, an unsaturated C9 chain, is obtained through the oligomerization of propylene. It is used as an ingredient in the production of surfactants, lubricant additives, and components for paint formulations, enabling producers to create innovative and ideal solutions for formulations such as shampoos, detergents, surface cleaners, among others.

Tetramer

Tetramer, an unsaturated C12 chain, is obtained through the oligomerization of propylene. Its chemical structure enables the synthesis of intermediates to produce additives such as surfactants — essential for the lubricants and personal care segments — as well as ingredients for the paints & coatings sector.
