People’s safety is Braskem’s priority.

Since 2019, this remains our greatest commitment to Maceió and its residents. We recognize the social impact caused and for this reason, we diligently implemented the actions.

4 years ago, we began preventive relocation of evacuation areas in conjunction with authorities and entered into agreements to develop a set of actions and programs to repair, mitigate, and compensate for the effects of soil subsidence in Maceió. Therefore, we have permanently reaffirmed our commitments to the city and its residents.

To give even more transparency, facilitate understanding, and follow-up on these actions and programs, some already in advanced stage of implementation or even completed, we have consolidated our commitments to Maceió.
