Braskem Named as The Franklin Institute's Official Diversity and Inclusion Partner

Braskem continues its mission to support diversity and inclusion through science and technology in the Philadelphia area

Braskem (B3: BRKM3, BRKM5 and BRKM6; NYSE: BAK; LATIBEX: XBRK), the largest thermoplastics polyolefins producer in the Americas, and the leading producer of biopolymers in the world, announced today that it has become the official Diversity and Inclusion Partner for The Franklin Institute, one of the oldest and premier centers of science, technology, education and development in the United States. 

Together, Braskem and The Franklin Institute will encourage diversity and inclusion through programming such as Color of Science, Women in Science, and Introduce a Girl to Engineering, and more. These programs are aimed at shaping a more vibrant and inclusive vision of STEM for the 21st Century and include hands-on activities, special workshop offerings as well as opportunities for one-on-one interactions with academic leaders, industry executives, and influential thought leaders.
